Trained in music theory, composition and performance, Heather received her MM in Music from the University at Buffalo and her BA in Music from the University of California, Davis.  She is currently an adjunct professor in the music and theater departments at the University of New Haven.  Heather and her sister Beth Megill co-founded Megill & Company, a not-for-profit theater production company currently located in Southern California.  Heather is the composer/author of three original musicals: Ask Dorothy, FATE, and The Legend of Sleepy Hollow.  As a performer, Heather’s favorite roles include Maria in Sound of Music, Marian in The Music Man, Anna in The King and I, and Dr. Charlotte in Falsettos.
